Welcome to Ecco System, the FCA Latam design system. This document will show you the foundation structure to create any digital product in FCA Style.

The importance to follow this document

A design system is a tool that standardizes brand digital communication. It helps both designers and developers to create solutions that maintain the brand language, applications, and usability. Among its main benefits we can highlight:

• Greater agility in production processes;

• Visual language unification;

• Brand coherence;

• Consistent experiences;

• Higher-quality digital products

In a brand like FCA using Ecco System becomes essential since many kinds of partners work with the brand, whether producing or using FCA products daily. Ignoring these rules can result in arbitrary solutions, inconsistencies, and usability failures. Additionally, design systems save production time (about 30% of a UI FCA designer time is dedicated to reworks only nowadays) because all interface components are already created and programmed once.

With these guidelines, building an FCA product will become easier and if you need a new FCA component, please let the FCA design team know!
